Focused sessions for practitioners who care for women through every stage of life, with topics that connect hormones, pelvic health, strength, rehab, and clinical decision-making.
Three days to look closely at the clinical factors behind women’s health, with education that supports better assessment, clearer treatment decisions, and care that fits the person in front of you.
Women’s health is never one-size-fits-all. The body changes, adapts, compensates, and recovers differently over time, and the way you care for each patient has to account for that.
Pain, movement, hormones, recovery, and function rarely stay in separate lanes. Patients are paying more attention to what they’re feeling and how their bodies are changing over time. This track helps you look at the patterns underneath the symptoms, ask better questions, and respond with stronger clinical context.
Estrogen, progesterone, relaxin, and thyroid hormones all influence how women move, heal, process pain, and respond to care across different stages of life.
Look at strength training through the lens of female physiology, with attention to bone density, sarcopenia, prevention, and long-term function for women over 50.
Low back pain in women can have more than one driver. Focus on anatomy, clinical reasoning, patient communication, and collaboration when the case needs a wider lens.
The Premier Track adds focused education on pelvic floor anatomy and function, pain classification, breathing, posture, and the patterns patients may not always know how to explain.
This track is for practitioners who work with women and want stronger clinical reasoning, better interdisciplinary awareness, and more useful strategies for everyday care.
Anna McAlinn examines the hormonal and neurological factors behind women’s musculoskeletal health, including how cyclic hormonal change can influence injury risk, tissue healing, pain processing, and movement over time.
MaryAnne Dimak focuses on how to support aging female patients with strength training and prevention strategies tied to bone density, sarcopenia, physiology, and long-term function.
Lisa Goodman looks beyond the obvious causes of low back pain with a focus on anatomy, clinical reasoning, practical management, patient communication, and collaboration when the case calls for it.
Join healthcare providers, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders for a one-day interdisciplinary symposium focused on evidence-based strategies to improve pain care.
