Dr. Andy Galpin (Ph.D., MS) is the Executive Director of the Human Performance Center (Center of Excellence) at Parker University. He was a tenured Professor at CSU Fullerton (California, USA). He directed the Center for Sport Performance (CSP) as well as the  Biochemistry and Molecular Exercise Physiology Laboratory (MEPL). He has a B.S. in Exercise Science (Linfield College, 2005), an M.S. in Human Movement Sciences (The University of Memphis, 2008), and a Ph.D. in Human Bioenergetics (Ball State University, 2011). The CSP conducts, presents, and publishes research and engages in consultations specifically related to the improvement of sports performance through the application of the sub-disciplines on Kinesiology (Biomechanics, Athletic Training, Strength & Conditioning, Nutrition, Exercise Physiology, Sport Psychology, Muscle Physiology, etc.). The MEPL performs innovative and impactful human performance research by studying the acute responses and chronic adaptations of skeletal muscle (from the whole muscle down to the single cell, molecule, & gene) to high-intensity, power, or force exercise. Andy has published >50 peer-reviewed papers in human performance, >100 abstracts and conference presentations, and multiple books and book chapters. He has presented at dozens of international and national professional conferences for sports coaches, scientists, the military, and more. He also regularly appears on podcasts around the world and in popular magazines, TV, and other media outlets. Andy serves as a reviewer and/or editor for >20 peer-reviewed scientific journals. Andy also works as a high-performance director for elite athletes across multiple sports such as MMA (UFC), Olympic weightlifting, Wrestling, MLB, NFL, powerlifting, and more.

Ben Greenfield

Cody Wayne Burkhart is an accomplished aerospace engineer, neuroscientist, and innovation strategist with nearly two decades at NASA’s Johnson Space Center. With dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering Sciences and Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and an M.S. in Neuroscience & Behavior from the University of Houston–Clear Lake, Cody’s expertise spans human-technology integration, biomechanical analysis, and advanced human performance optimization. 

As the Flight Project Manager for the Advanced Resistive Exercise Device (ARED) and the Knowledge Reaper Asset in a Kinetic Network (KRAKN) aboard the International Space Station, Cody spearheads initiatives that advance astronaut health, exercise analytics, and overall mission readiness. In his capacity as Chief of the HumanWorks Lab, he collaborates with organizations such as DARPA, TRISH, multiple branches of the Department of Defense (including the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Space Force, and SOCOM), the Defense Health Agency (DHA), and the Defense Innovation Unit (DIU), as well as with leading universities worldwide. His work includes developing immersive AR/VR prototypes, wearable sensing technologies, galvanic vestibular stimulation applications, and breathwork systems that push the boundaries of human potential in extreme environments. 

Cody’s impact extends beyond the lab: he has mentored over 150 interns, organized large-scale problem-solving conferences and think-tank sessions, and hosted regular Subject Matter Expert talks to keep innovation ecosystems thriving—even during global disruptions. He also serves as a Catalyst embedded within NASA’s Space Technology Mission Directorate, leveraging cutting-edge tools and partnerships to accelerate technology readiness. 

Beyond NASA, Cody is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of Anthropy Partners and helps guide the Anthropy Constructive—a nonprofit, mycelium-like digital ecosystem connecting performance labs, healthcare facilities, athletic programs, and research institutions. Through these ventures, he aims to democratize critical human health data, empower truly personalized healthcare solutions, and support initiatives in youth sports and women’s health.

Cody Burkhart

The First-Team Chiropractor for Professional Football Clubs  

Faye Deane graduated from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2007 and has 17 years of experience in private chiropractic practice. She successfully integrated functional medicine into her clinical approach while serving as the first-team chiropractor for professional football clubs, including Sheffield United and Leeds United. Faye holds a master’s in international public health from the University of York. She is pursuing a PhD in Musculoskeletal Health Policy and Systems Research at Teesside University, focusing on strengthening musculoskeletal healthcare systems in the UK.  

As the Course Leader for the MSci Chiropractic program at Teesside University, Faye spearheaded the implementation of the UK’s first formalized chiropractic placement model, collaborating with NHS Foundation Trusts. She is an active member of several professional organizations. She serves as a Board Member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA), Co-Chair of the Education Commission for the International Federation of Sports Chiropractors, and a Public Health Committee member for the World Federation of Chiropractic. Faye is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health, the Royal College of Chiropractors, and the Higher Education Academy.  

Faye’s passion lies in education, particularly in public health and the role of chiropractors as advocates for population health and well-being. Her international experience includes public health internships in Malawi and Chile, where she worked in diverse healthcare environments with indigenous healers. Faye’s academic contributions include publications on clinical placement strategies, public health advocacy, and implementing WHO guidelines on low back pain in chiropractic practice. She has also presented at numerous international conferences on musculoskeletal systems strengthening and the microbiome’s role in health and athletic performance.  

Her leadership shapes global collaborations, drives curriculum innovation, and advances chiropractic’s role in public health and integrated care systems. Faye’s career is a testament to her commitment to advancing education, policy, and practice in chiropractic and musculoskeletal health. 

Faye Deane

Kyl Smith D.C is a pioneer in the world of natural medicine. He is a patented inventor, noted researcher, lecturer, scientist, and is known as the inventor of “North America’s #1 Bestselling Brain Health Supplement.” He has appeared on hundreds of radio and television programs across the country and is the author of the acclaimed Brighter Mind® book series. He is also a popular speaker providing continuing education programs for doctors. Professionally, Dr. Kyl received his Doctor of Chiropractic in 1993, and has engaged in ongoing nutrition and natural medicine research. Kyl Smith

Dr Kirk is a chiropractic sports physician who has worked internationally with top performers from various disciplines. He has been a clinician for 20 years with a special focus on performance and rehabilitation. In addition to his clinical work, he has been engaged in education for the past 5 years as an assistant professor at Parker University supervising chiropractic interns and adjunct professor instructing at post graduate degree programs including Advanced Strength and Conditioning, Cardiovascular Health and Exercise and Health. He has provided sports medicine services to both professional athletes and high-level organizations. In addition to his consultancy work, he was also regional assessor for the Gatorade Sports Science Institute Latin America and Caribbean. Dr. Kirk is currently a clinical specialist at Parker Performance Institute and lead clinician on the Human Performance program at Parker University. Dr. Kirk received his bachelor’s degrees from Dundee University in Science and Physiological Science. He received his Master of Science in Chiropractic from the University of Surry and a Post Graduate Degree in Sports Medicine from the University of South Wales. Dr. Kirk also holds a master’s degree in clinical Neuroscience from Parker University. He continues to be engaged in clinical research, teaching, and consultancy with a special focus on soccer, and the application of recovery modalities. Sport and performance will always be a large part of his life, with two young boys who are obsessed with hockey and a wife who runs everything in their lives to make sure everyone stays happy, healthy, and together 

Nicky Kirk

Tammy Fogarty is a Registered Dietitian, Founder of About Thyme Nutrition, and the author of “Limitless Health”. She also serves as the Dean of Health and Human Performance at Parker University. With 25 years of experience as a registered dietitian/nutritionist, Dr. Fogarty has dedicated her career to advancing the science of nutrition and human performance through education and practical application. 

At Parker University, Dr. Fogarty leads the Health and Human Performance department, fostering a dynamic learning environment that emphasizes holistic health, innovative research, and hands-on experience. 

As an author, Dr. Fogarty has made significant contributions to the field with her book “Limitless Health,” which provides insightful strategies and evidence-based practices for achieving optimal health and well-being.  

Passionate about her work as a nutritionist and in education, Dr. Fogarty actively participates in initiatives aimed at improving public health and is committed to mentoring the next generation of health professionals. Her vision is to inspire a healthier world through education and practical health solutions. 

Tammy Fogarty

Thomas DeLauer is a translator of science. Having worked with the most elite Tier One Special Forces groups and Professional Athletes, he exudes a strong personality and ability to articulate complex scientific subject matter in a way that is practical, pragmatic, and able to be put into action. He is most noted for his wildly popular YouTube channel, which boasts 4 million subscribers and over 20 Million monthly views. He is a father and husband, first nutrition expert, and second. 

Thomas DeLauer

Dr. Tommy Wood is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Neuroscience at the University of Washington, where his research focuses on brain health across the lifespan. This includes therapies for newborn brain injury, prevention and treatment of adult brain trauma, and factors that contribute to long-term cognitive function, cognitive decline, and dementia risk. Tommy received an undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Cambridge, a medical degree from the University of Oxford, and a PhD in Physiology and Neuroscience from the University of Oslo. Alongside his academic training, Tommy has worked as a performance consultant to elite athletes in multiple sports, particularly Formula 1 drivers. He is also a Director and Treasurer of the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine, Head of Research for the dementia prevention charity Food for the Brain, and co-host of The Better Brain Fitness podcast.
