J. Donald Dishman

Dr. Dishman is Professor and Dean of Graduate Clinical Neuroscience Degree Programs at Parker University in Dallas, Texas. 

In addition to the Doctorate, Dr. Dishman was awarded a Master of Science degree in Neurophysiology from the renowned Institute for Sensory Research at Syracuse University. 

Dr. Dishman was a Professor of Anatomy at New York Chiropractic College for 16 years. He later was Professor of Anatomy at Palmer College of Chiropractic, Florida campus for 15 years.  

Dr. Dishman has published extensively in many prestigious international journals such as Spine, Journal of Neuroscience Methods, Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics, The Spine Journal, and Electromyography and Clinical Neurophysiology.  

He is a past research grant recipient from private foundations, as well as the National Institutes of Health. Recently, Dr. Dishman was honored with being the first and only DC to have been appointed by the American Physical Therapy Association to serve on the consensus panel for the best practices manuscript “Vestibular Rehabilitation for Peripheral Vestibular Hypofunction: An Updated Clinical Practice Guideline from the Academy of Neurologic Physical Therapy of the American Physical Therapy Association”.
